Former Federal Conservative MP and BC Conservative Party Tactical Advisor is Voting Yes to abolish the HST Against his Leader John Cummins on the HST.
John Cummins, leader of the BC Conservative Party, clearly does not have the support of his own party brass over the HST. If former federal Conservative MP and tactical advisor for the BC Conservative Party, Reed Elley, is voting to scrap the HST this shows his own party members and former MP’s are not willing to follow his lead on the HST.
John Cummins is proving he is not only out of touch with the people of BC but even with some of his closest advisors. The people of BC do not want the HST and most real conservatives do not want the HST. Conservatives in BC want a tax system managed by BC not in Ottawa.
This website applauds former MP Reed Elley for taking a truly principled position on the HST.
You’ve no idea how much we looked forward to an alternative to the Liberals and NDP. Both are clearly corrupt and every member is into politics for personal gain. We had hoped for a change with John Cummins and the resurgence of the the BC Conservative party. What we’ve seen so far seems to be far from our hopes and expectations. Looks like monkey business as usual.
