You've no idea how much we looked forward to an alternative to the Liberals and NDP. Both are clearly corrupt and every member is into politics for personal gain. We had hoped for a change with John Cummins and the resurgence of the the BC Conservative party. What we've seen so far seems to be far from our hopes and expectations. Looks like monkey business as usual.
We hope that Karma exists and that all of you are treated according to your actions in this exsistance.

Its not a conspiracy Scott. I was on the BC Conservative board and know first hand. The VP quit because of the backroom BC Liberals who showed up out of nowhere under direction from Randy White and rubber stamped by Wayne McGrath. Someone I know in the BC Conservative Party called the BC Liberal party pretending to be one of the board members to see if his "BC Liberal Membership" was up-to-date. The answer he received was yes. What these people are pulling is nothing more than a sham over the members who have joined the party under good intentions but not having the political experience to know how political rats work.

I can certainly say there is a problem. I overlook these monster ships coming and
going and being berthed in the closest berth to my home. Severe vibrations, earth
shaking, window rattling, concrete cracking, window damage, and bank failure are just a few of the problems created by these ships. It is to no avail complaining to BC Ferries they just keep running these ships. The sound and pulsation of these ships is overwhelming and should not be close to a residential area. They are causing a
lot of damage and do so everytime they are running in dock.

Can you explain how standing against the Harmonized Sales Tax is conservative. Understandably, governments that tax and tax and tax, then spend and spend and spend is not desirable. However, having been a PST tax collector at one time(self employed), I found the implementation of PST grassy unfair as some people's goods and labour were subject to the tax whereas others were not.

What's wrong with Mr. Cummins supporting the HST? It's not like the HST is an inherently bad idea and so long as Personal Income Tax is reduced to make the increase in what's now taxable under HST and wasn't in PST at least revenue neutral then the benefits would out weigh the disadvantages.

I personally agree that the problem with the HST is in the way it was brought in and will be voting against it in the referendum for that reason.

I've owned this domain for over a decade. I'm a conservative that lives in British Columbia and believe in conservative values. This is not a political party website it is a privately owned website. The BC Conservative Party does not own the word "conservative" nor do they own the term "bc". Who I as the editor and owner of this website endorse is my right as owner of this blog.

You might want to ask the BC Conservative Party to stop pretending and causing confusion that they are a BC Conservative Party. They are really BC Liberals that are being orchestrated by Ottawa conservatives to protect and maintain the HST. Nothing more nothing less.

If you think the BC Conservative Party will do anything different from the BC Liberals you will be sadly mistaken. They are one and the same thing.
